- Scout for yellow aphids and spray when
   they exceed 30 per compound leaf.
- Scout and spray as needed for nut
   casebearer and occasional pests listed
   above.
- Begin operating hickory shuckworm
   black light traps.

   analysis.  Soil samples may also be
   taken.
- Irrigate as needed.
- Keep orchards closely mowed.

- Patch bud beginning lat July.

- Apply postemergence herbicides if
   needed.
- Spray fungicides at 3-week intervals.
- Monitor pecan weevils by traps or
   knockdown sprays beginning late July.
- Scout and apply sprays needed for
   occasional pests listed above.

   which frequently build in late August,
   especially following carbaryl or
   synthetic pyrethroid sprays.
- Fungicide sprays may be needed.
- Scout and spray as needed for

   listed above.
